VOYAGE has adopted a ‘theory of change‘ model, which is linked to an African American philosophy “each one teach one”, transferring values of learning by:

  • raising awareness of self

  • building trust and confidence

  • developing political literacy and sharing this in forums, shares and international exchange work

Our approach also uses the 5Is Framework for Crime Prevention. 5Is is an advanced framework for capturing, consolidating and sharing knowledge of good practice in crime prevention. It aims to improve performance, scope and delivery of that practice locally, nationally and internationally, enabling smarter responses with reduced resources. 5Is is organised around a process model of crime prevention, covering five interlinked task streams: Intelligence, Intervention, Implementation, Involvement and Impact.
